Kingdom Without Borders: The Untold Story of Global Christianity is a collection of stories and lessons from the global Church by Miriam Adeney. This survey of Christianity beyond the West serves to expand the reader’s view and expectation of God. Miriam also sprinkles gems of wisdom throughout. Unfortunately, odd structure and poor editing make Kingdom Without Borders feel aimless (think stream of consciousness) and without a greater overarching message. (I say this with the suspicion that the structure and writing style were themselves cross-cultural experiences for me.) Whatever the case may be, Kingdom Without Borders is an eye-opening, story-driven tour of Christianity worth reading.
